The oster model is right for people who do regular grooming, shaving task in their home/apartments.
It is ready to use anytime anywhere and better option for guys like you and me.
On the other hand, the Wahl Senior is perfect for heavy-duty task. Meaning, it is suitable for the professional barber who needs really good power.
It is more versatile and comes with power back features and durability.
Make no mistake; you can still alter it as per your situation. But, this is just what we feel after using it a couple of times.

Hmm. Let’s start with Oster Fast Feed. Honestly, their pivot motor does its job & you won’t find any difficulty to use with your regular coarse hair but it’s not as strong as the senior.
Blades are sharp and ready to give you a satisfied shave but again, if you are looking for a zero gap, it’s kind of tricky.
I am not saying you won’t achieve it. But it will definitely take some time to adjust and efforts from your end to get your desired look.
One thing I liked about oster is they are cooler and quieter compared to other models.
On the other hand, Wahl Senior’s motor is by far the top of the line. And that’s what makes them so special in this grooming industry.
With this, you can easily get your zero gap look and it has the complete ability to go through all types of hair.
BODY & DESIGN ELEMENTS
If you look closely, you will see that Wahl Senior is way bigger than the Oster Fast Feed. Weighing around 1.2lbs.
On the other hand, the Oster Fast Feed balancing with 1 lb. with typical vintage looks.
From the outside look, I don’t think they are really really awesome. They are just alright in my opinion with some good features.
Oster Fast Feed is good for people who like more moving and a light device for their home use.

If Oster Fast Feed can beat the Wahl Senior, it’s right here.
Oster Fast Feed is way ahead with their tough plastic. Thus makes a perfect choice for home users. It’s no secret that, having a strong motor and with a metal part is the main reason behind this heating problem.
Moreover, electromagnetic motors move faster and with a V9000 motor, you can easily break it down why it will get hits so much.
Oster Fast Feed on the other hand, stay a lot cooler & quieter.
If you don’t like too much noise, fast feed is your way to go.
PRICE & OTHER ACCESSORIES
Compared to Wahl Senior, Oster Fast Feed is little cheaper. & senior has more than one variant so, you can make your own judgment there.

Coming to accessories, you will get almost similar tools along with both devices. It comes with 3 basic combs, cleaning brush, oil & a blade guard.
The only difference you get to see is – Wahl Senior’s guards are 1/16″ to 3/16″ in length. & fast feed comes with 1/4″, 3/8″ and 1/2″ guards. Not to mention, you also get a bonus blending comb.
